Welcome to SE * Lionhead's Maine coon Cattery in Sweden.
We are a small cattery located in Örebro, Sweden where we live in a house with our dear Maine coons. The cats are part of our family and are very special to us.The cats have access to the whole house and can walk around freely and spend time with us in everyday life.
They also have access to a cat outdoor and to our garden with trees and plants.

My story....
Since I was a kid I have always had cats around me.I was born in Latvia and back then, when I was a little girl,there were cats everywhere on the streets where we lived.
They were wild and most of them were homeless.
I remember I always brought the cats home to us and asked my mother to let them stay overnight
so they could get a warm place to sleep.
Already then I created a really good relationship with cats and they liked me!
While others played with dolls, I played with the cats, I saw them in our yard every day and began to understand their behavior by spending time with them.
I remember seeing kittens in shed in the yard where we used to pick up firewood.
when I think of all those memories from my childhood.I get warm in my heart.

How it all began…
It all started when my mother got sick and got a stroke.
As she got better we decided to surprise her with a kitten that changed her life.
Every time I greeted my mother, I got more and more a sense of having my own cats.
But it would take more than 20 years until I could fulfill my dream of getting my first 3 maine coons.
Today I can't think to live my life without them.
